Hello! I am Mihaela. I live in Novi Sad. I am an English teacher and salesperson. I speak fluent Serbian, Slovak and English and am practicing learning Russian and Thai as a hobby. I used to be fluent in German but I forgot :( and would like to regain my skills. I like movies, music, video games, travel, food etc. but we can talk about anything really. My interests are foreign languages and cultures, science, health and entertainment. I love going to the gym, to pub quizzes and stand-up comedy shows. Ich lerne seit eineinhalb Jahren Deutsch auf dem Niveau B1. Beruflich bin ich Medizintechniker und arbeite zur Zeit in einem Krankenhaus. Ich bin noch nicht verheiratet. I am a student of Russian language and I am in my final year of studies. I am a future translator, who loves to meet new people, exchange experiences and learn languages. My language journey started when I was only 3, I could speak German already, because my grandma was a German language teacher when she was young. I also love photography, long walks, reading in all the languages I know. I am here to meet new people my age or age around mine, practice the languages I know and learn Hungarian, from which I already know something, but I have been learning it for 8 months now only. Ich spreche mit Menschen gerne, weil man so nicht nur eine Sprache gut lernt, sondern auch kan mann neue Leute kennenlernen. Ich würde sagen das ich sehr freundlich bin und neugirig. Ich meine das man nie zu viele Sprachen wissen kan. Man kan immer was neues finden. Wenn ich Deutsch spreche, Leute fragen mich sehr oft wohehr ich aus Deutschland oder Österreich komme :)) Hablo español tambien, pero necesito practicar lo. Lo que veo, es que empezo a olvidar me un poco. Poido decir que lo apprendi en un manera muy raro, por que la profesore no quieria hablar con mi gruppo en mi idioma nativo, solamente en español y al primero era muy dificil, pero me ha acostumbrado. Ahora tengo que aprender mas y recordar me que apprendi antes. Es un idioma muy interesante para mi, de verdad. Nauczłem się mówić po polsku w trzecim i czwartym roku studiów. Bardzo mi się podoba ten język. Kiedy miałem wybrać jeszcze jeden język z grupy języków słoweńskich, moi rodzice powiedziali mnie że mam polskie korżenie ze strony mojego ojca. Wtedy pożyczłem nauczyć go. Nagyon szeretem a vilagot és nyelveket tanulni. Az nekéd nagyon érdekes. Szeretem sétálni, fenyképezni. Sokat hallgatom magyarul, amikor a nagymamam beszelt barátokkal, de ök több nem élnek. Csak emlékszem. Már lehet mondani hogy beszelnek magyarul, de gyakorolni kell.

Hello to everyone! My nationality is Hungarian but since I was born and raised in Serbia my skills are poor. In the last couple of years, I've been practicing it and testing myself although my improvement hasn't gone so far. + my preoccupation with the job, hobbies, family and other kinds of stuff didn't leave enough space for learning the Hungarian language (unfortunately). I am not very proud of myself in a way of learning and improving my Hungarian spoken skills as well as listening, writing, reading comprehension. But now I am ready to work harder on my mother tongue!!! In return, I am willing to give a hand with English or Serbian language!!

If you want to polish your posh British English, I'm your man. I can also do Cockney, a generic London accent, as well as Scouse. Eloquence, vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation—virtually anything (punctuation, cultural references et al). I also have Russian as another mother tongue, so if that's your preference, I can teach you anything including Soviet-era jokes (one caveat: I cannot roll my Rs, so don't copy them—I have a bunch of reference materials, anyway. 俺は日本語が上手になりたいお願い Mein Deutsch ist leider gerade ganz röstig; würde ich gerne es verbessern. Español es el idioma de mi corazón. Siempre tengo que practicar. Me gusta mucho la musica Hispanoamericana—cante jondo, la nueva trova, cantautores como Serrat y mucho mas. Não falo muito bem português, mais posso o entender. Também gosto de musica Brasileira, o fado, e o reggae de Angola :) I'm afraid I don't know anything but "kaka yangu" and a few other basic phrases in Swahili. Chinese, not much beyond "ni hao ma" and "wo ai ni" :) More interested in traditional characters, so that's why I chose Taiwanese over Mandarin. Also, not a fan of Xi, and the memory of the Tiananmen massacre is still alive in my heart, I am also interested in Setswana, but it doesn't even seem to be an option here.
